The esports trend in universities and professionally has grown to be one of the most popular sporting events in the world. This session will examine how esports is emerging in K-12 (both in formal classrooms and informal clubs) throughout the country. In this session we will explore at what esports is, the benefits to students, and how to get started.

He's paying a lot of attention right now to the education potential of emerging ecosystems such as esports as well as how changes in digital publishing are affecting teaching and learning in the classroom.
